Canadian BIPOC voices, with a focus on Muslims, are centered during this training program that aims to help fill the gap between emerging programs and sustainable, professional careers.
MiM works with six (6) Canadian mid-career writers in an intensive that focuses on the creative process, IP development, and pitching. During a two (2) month program, participants are selected to go through an 8-week training (meeting 1-2 times a week, a total of 2 hours) focused on the creative process, pitch/sales skills, and the entertainment industry.
At the end of the training, writers participate in a live writers room where they execute showrunner duties.
Those interested in applying to the next program cycle are requested to send a letter of interest and CV to connect@muslimsinmedia.org.
