One emerging Canadian director, with a focus on Muslim directors, is selected each cycle to create a calling card short film under the mentorship and with the collaboration of industry veterans.
Funding is provided for the completion of the film.
The training is aimed at positioning more Canadian directors, specifically Muslims and those of colour, for feature film director opportunities – both commercially and independently.
